Seven Years of Torchwood

0TWFarticleimage_017

John Barrowman recently told the Scottish Sun newspaper that BBC and Starz Entertainment are planning to make Torchwood for another seven years!

He told the newspaper…

"But I have turned down a load of other shows to make Torchwood. They're planning to make it for the next seven years. So I'll be spending six months a year in Hollywood and six back in the UK."
Though, in seven years in the so-far unconfirmed tenth series of Torchwood, John will be 50-years-old. What with playing an immortal character, doesn't he worry about how the age will show?

"Captain Jack turns into the hideous creature the Face Of Boe in the fullness of time so he won't always be good-looking anyway. But I'll keep playing Jack as long as I can. One thing you'll never find me doing is going for plastic surgery."

Although this news is not confirmed by any official source yet at all, it does sound very promising for us Torchwood fans, especially after the lull of time when nobody had any idea whether it would return after ‘Children of Earth’.
