Weaknesses: Very guarded, has difficulty talking about his past

Life and Lives: Jack was born and brought up on the Boeshane Beninsula, a sand-dune-looking area, with his mother, father Franklin and brother Gray. He, his father and Gray would often play cricket and sing songs around a campfire in the evenings. That all ended suddenly when terrible alien creatures arrived one day - they would usually just pass over, but not this time. Jack's father told him to looks after Gray and run, but while running Jack and Gray's hands slipped apart and Gray was lost. When Jack arrived back at home there was only his mother left, his father has been killed.

Later, Jack joined the Time Agency, the first from the Boeshane Peninsular to do so and was therefore dubbed "the Face of Boe". Some time after, when he was a young man, he persuaded a friend to join with him to fight some "horrible" enemy - these were possibly the creatures that massacred the people of the Boeshane Peninsular. The enemies tortured Jack's friend, considering Jack to be the stronger of the two, as a lesson for Jack; for which he bore the guilt.

Jack has been sentenced to execution several times, one time he remembered ordering two hypervodkas as a last meal. But he ended up sleeping with both his executioners... at the same time. For a while in the Time Agency, Jack worked with friend John Hart. They spent five years in a two week time-loop, inadvertently became like a married couple after spending too much time together. Eventually - when Jack discovered that the Time Agency had erased two years his life - he left the Agency, becoming a time-travelling con man; determined to revenge himself upon the Agency by conning them.
